Del 9 al 11 de Agosto de 2013 tendrá lugar en Detroit (EE.UU),  el 4º Evento anual de la MINS (Sociedad de Neurocirugía Mínimamente Invasiva) , cuyo objetivo es proveer mecanismos de aprendizaje de estas técnicas y tecnologías a los neurocirujanos.

MINS – Improving Outcomes with Knowledge

Description

Providers will learn improvement in techniques and technology for neurosurgeons, ENT, radiosurgeons, etc. This meeting will improve knowledge concerning the application and indications for the application of minimally invasive spinal and cranial techniques to help lower the learning curve in providers mastering the use of these various techniques. Providers will learn about the need for perioperative care covering three different phases including preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative. This activity will offer insights on how to counsel patients regarding their care throughout the perioperative phases.


Target Audience

Neurosurgeons, Specialty Physicians, Orthopaedics, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health Care Professionals.


Objectives

• Apply minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques.

• Integrate minimally invasive cranial surgical techniques and applications.

• Counsel patients concerning peri-operative care.


CME Accreditation and Credit Designation

William Beaumont Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

William Beaumont Hospital designates this educational activity for a maximum of (13.25) AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Non-Physician professionals should check with their individual credentialing body to confirm that participation in this CME activity will be approved for credit. All non-physician participants will receive an attendance certificate from Beaumont Hospitals.
