Interactive case-based group discussions

For the interactive sessions, the delegates will be divided into groups of six. The composition of each group will be balanced with regards to seniority, nationality and gender. A faculty member would be attached to one (or two groups) to facilitate discussions.

Faculty members will take turns to present a case to all the groups. Each group will be given 8 minutes to discuss each case and formulate their management plan. Following the discussion, the spokes person will present their management plan and explain the rationale. Then the faculty member who presented case then will reveal how he or she had managed the patient and what was the outcome. Other faculty members will be invited to comment on how they might have managed the case.

During the session the spokesperson for each group will be rotated through all the members of the group.

Hands-on Workshop

At the hands-on worskshops, the tutorial will be delivered
by neurosurgeons, design engineers and trained
representatives in groups of 10 delegates. The workshops
will be held from 14:00 -16:00 on each day of the
