Congreso anual de Sociedad Española de Neurocirugía (SENEC) – Barcelona 2017.
Durante los días 17 al 19 de mayo 2017, tendrá lugar en Barcelona el Congreso anual de Sociedad Española de Neurocirugía (SENEC). A este event está invitada la Sociedad Británica de Neurocirugía (SBNS) y la Sociedad Americana (CNS). Más información en la web del Congreso.
PRESENTACIÓN
El congreso de la SENEC de 2017, será en la ciudad de Barcelona, durante las fechas del 17 al 19 de Mayo del año 2017. Para este congreso hemos invitado a la sociedad Británica de Neurocirugía (SBNS) y la sociedad Americana (CNS). El motivo es hacer participes a unas sociedades directamente concienciadas con el tema del congreso que es el de “Preservación de la función neurológica. Un paradigma irrenunciable”.
Muchos neurocirujanos españoles han recibido formación , parcial y/o completa, en el Reino Unido, durante estos últimos 60 años, es por ello, y a modo de agradecimiento, que hemos querido invitar a esta sociedad por primera vez a España y hacerles participes de nuestro congreso nacional. Además se da una fecha histórica este año, en la neurocirugía, donde celebramos el 100 aniversario de la muerte de Sir. Víctor Horsley, considerado el primer neurocirujano, al que también homenajearemos mediante una sesión plenaria el viernes 19 de Mayo.
Aunque ya hemos invitado a la Sociedad Americana (CNS), previamente en el congreso nacional, pensamos que es muy importante mantener estos vínculos con sociedades de reconocido prestigio internacional, con el fin de estrechar lazos profesionales y personales, que solo pueden llevar a una mejoría en nuestra practica clínica y de colaboración en proyectos de investigación en Neurocirugía.
El tema propuesto, indicado previamente, es un reto para todos los neurocirujanos que tratamos no solo de extirpar lesiones en áreas elocuentes, sino de hacerlo preservando la función del paciente como algo de igual importancia.
Es por ello que os esperamos a todos/as, durante la semana de mayo de 2017 en Barcelona, ciudad, que como sabéis, es siempre un placer visitar, especialmente en esa época del año.
